A Deeper Look Into the Quake in Nepal (Among Other Things….)
As of late, the popular culture has reveled in their new found rights for same sex unions, promotion, and indoctrination. We have seen the media saturated with same sex themes and open omissions from celebrities. The most recent one of course being a former Olympic Medal winning jock who graced the cover of the Wheaties cereal box decades ago..
Where the Bible stands on this issue is very clear: It is an abomination to God and His Son. I have always said that God loves the sinner but hates the sin. Ultimately, no court can change the truth that God’s definition for marriage has always been, and will always be, between a man and a woman.
The Supreme Court’s oral arguments on whether states should be constitutionally obligated to issue same-sex marriage licenses adjourned Tuesday, April 28, 2015.
Many are predicting the Supreme Court’s decision in June to come down to a narrow 5-4 vote. The nation awaits the final decision as the justices will make the tough decision on whether the 14th Amendment requires states to uphold same-sex marriages.
Since June 2013, the number of states that legally recognize same-sex marriage dramatically increased from 9 and the District of Columbia to 37 states, with Alabama being the most recent addition.
Romans 1:24-27—Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

I am making this point so you understand the spiritual ramifications of same sex unions according to Romans 1:24-27. The Bible is very clear about this issue.
Malachi 3:6a—For I am the Lord, I change not;
Hebrews 13:8–Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
Ultimately, when the Age of Grace comes to a close at the Rapture of the Church, God will begin to judge the nations. There is no way around this truth. I again want to emphasize again that God loves the sinner but he hates the sin.
That being said I wanted to examine a few interesting tidbits of information regarding Nepal:
Nepal is the most open country in South Asia for LGBT rights and has recognized LGBT rights in higher standards. The Nepalese government, following the monarchy that ended in 2007, legalised homosexuality in 2007 along with the introduction of several new law sets. Based on the ruling of the Supreme Court of Nepal in late 2008, the government is looking into legalising same-sex marriage. According to several sources, the new Nepalese constitution, which is currently being drafted, will include same-sex marriage and protection for sexual minorities.
It is important to note that when nations turn their back against God and His ways, they also set themselves up to fall under the curse and death. God gave us His laws and His Holy Writ to protect us.
The truth of the matter here is that mankind is creating new laws as he goes without consideration for the ramifications to the earth. Mankind does not fully comprehend the relationship between our behavior and God’s Universal Laws. Again, we must understand thatGod gave us His Word, the Holy Bible, to protect us. The problem is that we have intellectualized our way around them and placed more value on ours than His Word. Unfortunately this is also happening in the Church too, but that is another message in itself.
But let’s dig deeper into this quake and Nepal.
The whole of the Old Testament, every book, points toward the Great Sacrifice that was to come—that of Jesus’ sacrificial giving of His own life on our behalf. Leviticus 17:11 is the Old Testament’s central statement about the significance of blood in the sacrificial system:
Leviticus 17:11— For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.
A “sacrifice” is defined as the offering up of something precious for a cause or a reason. Making atonement is satisfying someone or something for an offense committed. The Leviticus verse can be read more clearly now: God said, “I have given it to you (the creature’s life, which is in its blood) to make atonement for yourselves (covering the offense you have committed against Me).” In other words, those who are covered by the blood sacrifice are set free from the consequences of sin.
Hebrews 9:11-22 confirms the symbolism of blood as life and applies Leviticus 17:11 to the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Hebrews 9:11-22—But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth. Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood. For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people, Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you. Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry.And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
So when Christ entered the Most Holy Place, He did so to offer His own blood once for all time, making future sacrifices unnecessary. This is what Jesus meant by His dying words on the cross:
John 19:30—When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
Never again would the blood of bulls and goats cleanse men from their sin. Only by accepting Jesus’ blood, shed on the cross for the remission of sins, can we stand before God covered in the righteousness of Christ:
2 Corinthians 5:21— For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
On the flip side, the Bible specifies that people actually worshipped demons when they worshipped idols. But it may be that demons communicated to demonized people with familiar spirits, claimed to be gods, and influenced people to start making idols and worshipping them. It would make some sense that demons, lacking and missing a body, might have seen this as a way to have a bodily representation, by the contrived body of an idol.
1 Corinthians 10:19-21—What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing? But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils.
Why did I bring this up? Have you ever heard of the Gadhimai Festival?
The Gadhimai Festival is a sacrificial ritual that is held every 5 years at the Gadhimai Temple of Bariyarpur, in Bara District, which is south of the capital Kathmandu in Nepal . This mass ritual is attended by millions of people and it involves a large scale sacrificial slaughter of animals including water buffaloes, pigs, goats, chicken, rats, and pigeons – with the goal of pleasing Gadhimai, the goddess of power.
This festival took place last year late in the month of November (2014). About 500,000 animals are slaughtered to appease or thank this Hindu goddess Gadhimai, who is thought to be capable of ending suffering and evil as well. What is interesting to note is that this goddess is similar to Shiva, another Hindu deity.
In 2004, a 2 meter statue of the dancing Shiva was unveiled at CERN, the European Center for Research in Particle Physics in Geneva. The statue, symbolizing Shiva’s cosmic dance of creation and destruction, was given to CERN by the Indian government to celebrate the research center’s long association with India. Shiva is the god of destruction. Being that he is the god who is known as the Destroyer, Bible scholars should take notice, because that is the same name used to describe the entity that comes up out of the Abyss when the Fifth Trumpet of Revelation is sounded. The Hebrews called him, Abaddon. The Greeks called him Apollyon. Is this just a coincidence?
Revelation 9:11—And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.
It is being reported that CERN is massively interfering with earth’s natural magnetic balance. The Collider was active when the quake in Nepal struck and in the previous two times that CERN was active, there was an uptick in earthquakes and at the same time a previously unknown particle was discovered at CERN. Could it be that a spiritual transference took place during the earthquake? The spirit of Shiva The Destroyer making his journey from Nepal to Cern after devastating Nepal. Without factoring in the spiritual component, it’s impossible to understand the darkness that is now being released at CERN. In the Hindu belief system, thought Shiva is said to reside on Mt. Kailash in the Himalayas about 300 miles from Kathmandu, Nepal. He is said to reside on the summit in a state of perpetual meditation. The Bhimsen Tower adorned on its highest point with a statue of Shiva was decimated during the recent quake in Nepal.
Remember I stated in a previous post that before the Age Enlightment, Science and the Occult were together. After the Age Enlightment there was a division between the two and I believe that prior to the return of the LORD the two will unite again. I am of the impression that the powers shaping the current world events extend well beyond the physical realm. CERN is attempting to identify dark matter at the moment. Dark matter is invisible to the naked eye and is understood to be that which holds matter together. We are looking at the point in history where man intends to connect with forces which transcend science. Could it quite possibly be that those that are searching for the “God Particle” could be opening the gates of hell?
I say all this because we edging closer and closer to the return of the LORD. After the church age has ended, I believe a three-fold series of wrath will be unleashed in during the Tribulation period:
- Wrath of man
- Wrath of Satan
- Wrath of God
The Bible tells us that men will not repent of their sins during the tribulation period when God’s wrath is unleashed:
Revelation 9:20-21—And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.
There is a way to avoid being left behind to endure the wrath of God that is surely coming soon.
Isaiah 55:6-7—Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
Romans 10:9-10—That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Too much is happening too fast. It is a well-known truth of God that God has great long-suffering, but that there is a point beyond which even His long-suffering will not go. I believe that there are churches that are preaching the gospel. I believe that there are pockets of revival and spiritual blessing here and there. But as a whole, the picture is not pretty. The cup of iniquity continues to fill up.
However , when it’s all said and done, all nations will fill up the measure of their sins. The time to repent is now. the time to get saved is now.
