Joel 3:2—I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.

I mentioned in the previous post that there have been recent reports indicating that  that President Trump and Jarrod Kushner have been working on an Israel-Palestinian peace plan that will call for an independent Palestinian state with eastern Jerusalem as its capital.

Although as of now they appear to be rumors but have been leaked to the press, an upcoming conference scheduled in Cairo, Egypt this year is where this announcement will be made. In order to sway Mahmoud Abbas into receiving this offer, the U.S. government would fund the development of the Palestinian State to the tune of $40 billion.

Under this peace plan, the United States will recognize an independent Palestinian state with eastern Jerusalem as its capital on condition that the disputed old city, home to sites holy to Judaism, Christianity and Islam, is administered by an international custodian. If this does indeed come to fruition this means that it will happen at the expense of Jerusalem being divided, hence, God’s land being parted as mentioned in Joel 3:2.

God is very adamant about His spoken Word.

Isaiah 55:11— So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Furthermore, Scriptures tell us that God exalts His word above His name:

Psalm 138:2— I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

As the psalmist turns to the temple to worship he writes in Ps. 138:2: “For thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name name.” God’s Word is His communication, His promise, the revelation of Himself to His people. It is to be a lamp to our feet in a dark and fallen world, without it we would have no way to know God or how to do God’s will.

In reference to the very first Scripture on this post, God’s Word is very clear: the Lord Almighty will judge all nations who divide the Land of Israel.

Nevertheless, international pressure on Israel to carve up the Holy Land like Edward Scissor-hands on a soft pumpkin continue as the nations are calling for Israel to withdraw to the 1967 borders. Nearly every world leader — and certainly every American president since 1967, when Jerusalem was recognized as the capital of Israel — has demanded Israel give up significant amounts of territory within Judea, Samaria, and the Golan Heights in order to create a sovereign Palestinian state side by side with Israel and make peace with Syria. Keep in mind that we are a part of the generation that has seen Jerusalem come to international significance being recognized as the city in Israel by all nations.

If the plan is approved, it will ultimately force Israel to give up more of its land, to divide Jerusalem, and eventually return it to indefensible borders. This would be a grave mistake. It would severely jeopardize Israeli national security. It would do so in direct defiance of the Holy Scriptures. And it may draw the judgment of the Lord Almighty against the United States and all other countries involved in the process.

Zechariah 12:1-9— The burden of the word of the Lord for Israel, saith the Lord, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him. 2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. 3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. 4 In that day, saith the Lord, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness. 5 And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in the Lord of hosts their God. 6 In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem. 7 The Lord also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves against Judah. 8 In that day shall the Lord defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the Lord before them. 9 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

Historically, we know that the nations have repeatedly divided the Land of Israel. Prophetically, we know they will continue to do so until the Day of the Lord comes. (Please see my previous posts on “The Day of the LORD”)

The Lord is going to gather all the nations – not some of the nations….not a few of the nations….the text says “all” of the nations…He will gather them to the Valley of Jehoshaphat….the valley of judgment…what we know today as the Kidron Valley which is located in……… Jerusalem.

Joel 3:2-5; 19-21—I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land. 3 And they have cast lots for my people; and have given a boy for an harlot, and sold a girl for wine, that they might drink. 4 Yea, and what have ye to do with me, O Tyre, and Zidon, and all the coasts of Palestine? will ye render me a recompence? and if ye recompense me, swiftly and speedily will I return your recompence upon your own head; 5 Because ye have taken my silver and my gold, and have carried into your temples my goodly pleasant things; Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence against the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land. 20 But Judah shall dwell for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation. 21 For I will cleanse their blood that I have not cleansed: for the Lord dwelleth in Zion.

The Lord is going to judge the nations for at least four reasons:

1. For scattering Israel and the Jewish people among the nations  (Joel 3:2)

2. For dividing up the land of Israel, which the Lord describes as “My land” (Joel 3:2)

3.For stealing treasures from the Lord (perhaps from the 3rd Temple which will be built in the very near future), and from Israel. (Joel 3:5)

4. For murdering Jews and shedding Jewish blood. (Joel 3:19, 21)

When it comes to the fourth reason , you may want to add 57 nations to the list. What do I mean by this:

A Turkish newspaper close to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his ruling party is urging 57 Islamic nations to build a joint army specifically to attack Israel.

The Middle East Media Research Institute reports the article appeared on the paper’s website under the title “What If an Army of Islam Was Formed against Israel?”

It was published shortly ahead of a summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, which has 57 members, MEMRI reported.

The article also mentioned , MEMRI said, “that such a joint army will greatly exceed the Israeli army in manpower, equipment and budget, and presents statistics to prove this.”

It also advocates establishing joint bases for the army’s ground, air and naval forces that will arrive from all over the Muslim world to besiege Israel. Special status was given to Pakistan, which happens to be the only country of the 57 with nuclear weaponry.

Keep in mind that Turkey already has penetrated northern Syria. Iran has also been reported to have established several military bases in Syria. Historically speaking, whenever Isarel was besieged in the Bible, the opposing forces always came from “the north.”

The article states: “It becomes evident that the member states’ [joint] military might greatly exceeds that of Israel. Moreover, in a possible military operation, this superiority [can] be realized on the ground by [setting up] joint military bases for ground, air and naval forces.”

It says that if the OIC member states “unite and form a joint military force, it will be the largest army in the world.”

“These countries’ total population is 1,674,526,931. The number of soldiers in active service in these countries is at least 5,206,100.”

The newspaper calls Israel “significantly inferior” and says that “this country, which attempted to occupy Jerusalem while surrounded by Muslim states” has a population of only about 8 million, while Istanbul alone exceeds 14 million.

Furthermore, the frightening scenario that will most likely play out according to the Scriptures is that the only friend that ultimately reaches out to her, will be the Antichrist. He will give Israel a temporary peace.

Daniel 9:27-–And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

But, three and a half years later (Mid-Trib), the Antichrist replicates what the Jews well remember in their history from the days of Antiochus concerning the desecration of the Temple. At that point the Antichrist betrays them.

God’s Word must be taken in to consideration here:

Currently, there is a growing disparity between the nations of the world and Israel. It’s most unfortunate that our own country is going to grow in its disparity from Israel as well. Currently in existence are policies going back several administrations that have forced Israel to do things that they didn’t want to do, things such as the giving up of land that God has directly said that no one is to force them to relinquish.

The United Nations, the United States, the European Union ,the Arab League, the Palestinian Authority, heck even the Government of Israel must clearly take heed to what God’s Word is clearly stating.

It is CLEARLY evident and PAINSTAKINGLY obvious now that Israel is being set to take center stage concerning Bible prophecy and the end times. She will be alone. But God + 1 = The Majority.

And if Israel is about to take center stage, where does that put the true Church in God’s timetable?

Luke 21:28-36—And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. 29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; 30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. 31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand. 32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled. 33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. 34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. 35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

The Middle East Peace Plan and The Prince That is to Come…..

There is no shadow of doubt in my mind as I see prophetic events unfolding in rapid succession and as we enter just the third month of 2018 it never ceases to amaze me how God’s Word is true and that the return of the Lord Jesus Christ and the end of the Church age is clearly upon us.

There are now reports surfacing that President Trump and Jarrod Kushner have been working on  an Israel-Palestinian peace plan that will call for an independent Palestinian state with eastern Jerusalem as its capital.

Could that international custodian be the Vatican? The primary financial agent and secular control center for the Vatican is the City of London, which is also the Rothschilds’ banking epicenter. The Rothschilds have been the ‘official’ bankers for the Catholic Church since 1823. This will very interesting to see…

Now let me carefully say that I am not naming dates or claiming certain political figures represent key figures mentioned in Biblical eschatalogy, but what are the odds of this happening:

“Prince” William will be the first British royal to ever make an official visit to the country of Israel this year. The Prince of Cambridge will be visiting both Israel, Jordan and the occupied Palestinian territories  this summer, not long after Israel’s 70th anniversary.

Israeli media have reported many invitations offered by Israeli officials to British royals but none, until now, have been accepted. The British government,  condemns Israeli settlement building in the West Bank and has not approved any royal trips to Israel for the last 70 years! Remember, modern day Israel emerged out of Britain when the British military ‘won’ Israel around 1917, and then turned it over to Jewish authorities in 1948. So it was the Brits that controlled Israel before 1948.

President Reuven Rivlin mentioned that  he looks forward to welcoming Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, on an official visit to the State of Israel later this year. A very special guest, and a very special present for our 70th year of independence.

Furthermore, the office of the Palestinian president, Mahmoud Abbas, said it welcomes this important visit, and they hope it will contribute to strengthening ties of friendship between the two peoples.

The British monarchy emerged directly out of the same Roman empire that was resposible for the crucifixion the Messiah. This happened when Britain became a Roman colony in approximately 55 B.C. (although warring with Rome continued well into the 2nd century).

The name “Britain” is derived from “B’rith-ain” which means “covenant land,” and “British” means “covenant man.” The British empire eventually exceeded even the Roman empire in size, which is the reason for the infamous colonialism expression, “the son never sets on the British  empire”.

Currently, there has been a huge movement called ‘British-Israelism,’ which claims the lost tribes of Israel are scattered throughout the globe and primarily located in modern-day Europe.

Mere coinicidence you say?

Either way, look up for your redemption draweth Nigh!

Will His Death Indeed Bring the End of the Church Age?

I must confess that I was impresed to write this particular post over a week ago and didn’t get to it. However after I heard this, I knew I should’ve posted it. Nonetheless, please see this clip:

Anne Graham Lotz, mentioned the date of her father’s passing, Feb. 21 of 2018, and that it held spiritual significance that was “strategic” from “heaven’s point of view.”

That was the day, she explained, that Jews were focusing on reading scripture about how Moses led the people of Israel out of bondage – much as her father had led millions of people out of bondage to sin.

“Moses was the great liberator,” she explained. “He brought millions of people out of bondage to slavery, got them to the edge of the Promised Land and God took him to Heaven. God brought Joshua to lead them into the Promised Land to take them home.”

“And my father also is a great liberator,” Lotz continued. “He brought millions of people out of bondage to sin and gets us to the edge of Heaven, the edge of the Promised Land and then God has called him home.”

“Could it be that God is going to bring Joshua to lead us into the Promised Land, lead us to Heaven and – you know what the New Testament name for Joshua is? It’s Jesus. And I believe this is a shot across the bow from Heaven. And I believe God is saying: ‘Wake up church! Wake up world! Jesus is coming!” she declared.

Although Anne Graham compared her father to Moses., I would like to bring up anothe indicidual that came to mind :

Genesis 5:21- 27 —-And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah: 22 And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: 23 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years: 24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him. 25 And Methuselah lived an hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech. 26 And Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begat sons and daughters: 27 And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.

It bears mentioning that Billy Graham was uniquely called by God for a specific time and purpose. Nothing happens outside of God’s purposes and divine timing. Until he passed away at the age of 99, for the last 80 years, which surpasses a generation no matter which way you slice it,  Billy Graham stayed true to one message and that was salvation by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ; a message for which Dr. Graham did not venture from for nearly 80 years.

Suffice to say, before the Great Flood of Noah, another similar set of events took place on earth. A man called Enoch was literraly taken taken from the earth while he was yet alive before the judgement of the flood because God said that he walked in fellowship with Him. Many Bible scholars agree that Enoch is clearly a type and shadow of the Church.

Hebrews 11:5—By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

Jude 14-15And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints.15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

Noah also preached to the world about God’s desire to save the world if they would repent and turn to God. This was pretty much  the same message of Billy Graham.

Hebrews 11:5–By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

2 Peter 2:5-For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;

Now here is where this gets even more interesting. The oldest man alive at that time was Methuselah, whose name literally means, “when he dies, judgement comes.”

In the Hebrew language, Methuselah’s name, is muwthselah. The Hebrew word muwth is defined as  death or to die. The Hebrew word selah means stop and listen, weigh, an interlude or pause, and is used in conjunction with understanding what is to come next. To me another reminder that Christ himself gave comes to mind:

Mark 4:9–And he said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Revelation 2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; (of course the Spirit of God makes this same statement for a total of SEVEN times in the Book of Revelation alone!)

It just so happens to be that God chose Methuselah to be the longest living human being of that time and  to be a sign to the world that when this man died, the patience of God would run out and His judgement would befall the earth. Prior to God’s judgment via flood,  Enoch, was removed from the earth.

The flood of Noah came after Methuselah’s death.

Methuselah was a representative of the Gospel who declared by his very name that judgment was coming to that generation. In the Hebrew custom, names and their meanings have profound value. To me it cannot be just a mere coincidence  that Billy Graham was the same agent of impending judgement as he declared to the whole world that all must repent and believe the Gospel and this he did for 80 years!!!

All this coupled with prophetic events accelerating in fulfillment in the Middle East. I have always said that the Nation of Israel is God’ prophetic timeclock and as the 70 year anniversary of Israel becoming a nation is looming, now there are reports surfacing about a possible Peace plan that will includin the dividing of Jerusalem. More on that in my next post.

A Closer Look at the Rapture: Signs of the Times (Part III)

As mentioned in the previous article,  Jesus Christ himself  referred to Queen Jezebel (metaphorically speaking) to point out false religion and spiritual seduction which would be taking place in the Church prior to His return.

Revelation 2:19-24—And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass; 19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first. 20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.

When churches lack qualified leadership and a lack of discipleship, there is always a very strong probability that they can become vulnerable to the lies of the false teachers and false prophets of the developed world.

Scripture says the following:

1 Timothy 4:1—Now the Spirit speaketh expressly that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils.

False religion and spiritual seduction not only leads to scriptural error and idolatry, but it can also cause one to be lead astray, to be lead into error, to be deceived and ultimately to fall away from truth. The teaching of God’s Word is not something that should ever be taken lightly:

James 3:1—My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.

Notice the NLT:

James 3:1–Dear brothers and sisters,[a] not many of you should become teachers in the church, for we who teach will be judged more strictly. 2 Indeed, we all make many mistakes. For if we could control our tongues, we would be perfect and could also control ourselves in every other way.

Although the context of the chapter focuses on the power of the tongue and how we should be careful with our words James clearly emphasize the seriousness of being a teacher of God’s Word.

Getting back to Elijah, whose name “Eliyahu,” in the original language meant “My God, He is Yahweh,” his very name became a polemic against false teaching and idolatry, specifically towards Ba’al worship which become the norm under reign of King Ahab and the pagan influence and spiritual seduction of Queen Jezebel. Jezebel, a daughter of the king of Zidon, led the people away from the Lord to worship Baal the sun-god, and the goddess Ashtoreth, whom the Zidonians worshipped.

This was the state of Israel when the Lord sent the prophet Elijah to warn the people and call them back to Him. He spoke as boldly as John the Baptist did years afterward. And like John the Baptist, his hair was long and he wore a leather girdle. Elijah is called the Tishbite. It is not sure where the town was in which he was born, but he was living in Gilead beyond Jordan.

The Lord sent the prophet to tell Ahab that there would be a drought and famine because the people were disobedient and no longer following God. And the famine came, and lasted three years and six months. In the meantime Elijah was cared for by the Lord. He was hidden from Ahab and Jezebel, who would have killed him, and was fed.

James 5:17-18—Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. 18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.

Notice how Elijah’s ministry was compared to John the Baptist, who was a voice crying in the wilderness. John the Baptist’s ministry was outside the conventional population areas. He was in the wilderness. Since the time of his birth, the Bible tells us tells us that he spent his entire life in the wilderness. . He wore camel’s hair and he ate locusts and wild honey. He was obviously a man apart from the establishment. He lived clearly outside the influences, the attitudes and the life style of his culture. By God’s design he was uninfluenced by his society, as was Enoch and was Elijah.

John the Baptist didn’t care about cultural relevance, he didn’t have any social savvy. He didn’t know his culture by personal experience or study. But he knew his God and he knew the message of his God.

I want to make a very important point here: The true prophet of God has never been called to find the common ground with his culture. The true prophet of God has always been called to bring the pure uninfluenced Word of God to confront that culture, preaching repentance for the forgiveness of sin. John’s responsibility also was to prepare the people for the coming of the Lord. That’s what John the Baptist did and that’s what Elijah did and that’s what the true Church will do prior to the Rapture.

I want to close with yet another interesting similarity between the times we are living in and the times of the ministries of both John the Baptist and Elijah: Notice there was a famine in the land.

Not only was there a famine in the land bot spiritually speaking there was a famine of hearing and understanding God’s Word in the land:

Amos 8:11-12—Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord: 12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the Lord, and shall not find it.

In this regard, it can be said then that John the baptist broke the first famine in the hearing of God’s Word in preparation of the First Coming of Christ and ultimately Elijah the Prophet, who many Bible scholars believe will be one of the two witnesses God raises during the Tribulation period will be instrumental in dealing with yet another famine in the hearing of God’s Word prior to the return of the Messiah. Even these two witnesses will ultimately be “raptured,”:

Revelation 12:1-12—-And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. 2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. 3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. 4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. 5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. 6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will. 7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. 8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. 9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. 10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. 11 And after three days and an half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. 12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

Keep in mind that before the two witnesses are revealed on the earth the Church must be raptured. In anticipation of these two events perhaps we are living in the last days whereas the true Body of Christ is being raised to bring the pure uninfluenced Word of God to confront the current culture, to preach repentance for the forgiveness of sin and to prepare the people for the coming of the Lord.

A Closer Look at the Rapture (Part II)

As we continue with this series, we must understand the importance of the eternal nature as well as the temporal nature of redemption. When we are “born-again,” our old self is crucified and we are redeemed to both go to Heaven and to reign with Christ in the Millennium. Yet while on earth, which is our temporal abode, we all fulfill a purpose in this temporal life on this temporal earth. This is done collectively as the body of Christ so that we can ultimately facilitate the coming of the future kingdom.  Our navigation device on this earth is the Holy Bible itself:

II Timothy 3:16-17—All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Some may say, “Oh, well you are so heavenly-minded that you’re of no earthly good.” I beg to disagree. Being correctly heavenly-minded if anything should directly affect your conduct on earth. Whether or not we, as born-again believers fulfill such a calling will then determine the very magnitude of our status and rewards when Christ does return. (Please see the previous posts on this website: Crowns & Rewards & Stages of Salvation Parts I & II.)

As mentioned in the previous post, the strong emphasis on the fact that Enoch walked with God is synonymous with that of a New Testament believer who is striving to walk in the spirit:

Romans 5:8-11— For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

There is another rapture that takes place in the Bible that is the rapture of the prophet Elijah:

elijah caught up

2 Kings 2:1-12— And it came to pass, when the Lord would take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal. 2 And Elijah said unto Elisha, Tarry here, I pray thee; for the Lord hath sent me to Bethel. And Elisha said unto him, As the Lord liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they went down to Bethel. 3 And the sons of the prophets that were at Bethel came forth to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Lord will take away thy master from thy head to day? And he said, Yea, I know it; hold ye your peace. 4 And Elijah said unto him, Elisha, tarry here, I pray thee; for the Lord hath sent me to Jericho. And he said, As the Lord liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they came to Jericho. 5 And the sons of the prophets that were at Jericho came to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Lord will take away thy master from thy head to day? And he answered, Yea, I know it; hold ye your peace. 6 And Elijah said unto him, Tarry, I pray thee, here; for the Lord hath sent me to Jordan. And he said, As the Lord liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. And they two went on. 7 And fifty men of the sons of the prophets went, and stood to view afar off: and they two stood by Jordan. 8 And Elijah took his mantle, and wrapped it together, and smote the waters, and they were divided hither and thither, so that they two went over on dry ground. 9 And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me. 10 And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so. 11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. 12 And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces.

What one must understand in regards to Elijah’s ministry is that God raised him up to deal with the Ahab and Jezebel and the priests of Baal among other things:

1 Kings 16:29-33–And in the thirty and eighth year of Asa king of Judah began Ahab the son of Omri to reign over Israel: and Ahab the son of Omri reigned over Israel in Samaria twenty and two years. 30 And Ahab the son of Omri did evil in the sight of the Lord above all that were before him. 31 And it came to pass, as if it had been a light thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took to wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Zidonians, and went and served Baal, and worshipped him. 32 And he reared up an altar for Baal in the house of Baal, which he had built in Samaria. 33 And Ahab made a grove; and Ahab did more to provoke the Lord God of Israel to anger than all the kings of Israel that were before him.

1 Kings 18:17-39— And it came to pass, when Ahab saw Elijah, that Ahab said unto him, Art thou he that troubleth Israel? 18 And he answered, I have not troubled Israel; but thou, and thy father’s house, in that ye have forsaken the commandments of the Lord, and thou hast followed Baalim. 19 Now therefore send, and gather to me all Israel unto mount Carmel, and the prophets of Baal four hundred and fifty, and the prophets of the groves four hundred, which eat at Jezebel’s table. 20 So Ahab sent unto all the children of Israel, and gathered the prophets together unto mount Carmel. 21 And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the Lord be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word. 22 Then said Elijah unto the people, I, even I only, remain a prophet of the Lord; but Baal’s prophets are four hundred and fifty men. 23 Let them therefore give us two bullocks; and let them choose one bullock for themselves, and cut it in pieces, and lay it on wood, and put no fire under: and I will dress the other bullock, and lay it on wood, and put no fire under: 24 And call ye on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the Lord: and the God that answereth by fire, let him be God. And all the people answered and said, It is well spoken. 25 And Elijah said unto the prophets of Baal, Choose you one bullock for yourselves, and dress it first; for ye are many; and call on the name of your gods, but put no fire under. 26 And they took the bullock which was given them, and they dressed it, and called on the name of Baal from morning even until noon, saying, O Baal, hear us. But there was no voice, nor any that answered. And they leaped upon the altar which was made. 27 And it came to pass at noon, that Elijah mocked them, and said, Cry aloud: for he is a god; either he is talking, or he is pursuing, or he is in a journey, or peradventure he sleepeth, and must be awaked. 28 And they cried aloud, and cut themselves after their manner with knives and lancets, till the blood gushed out upon them. 29 And it came to pass, when midday was past, and they prophesied until the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that there was neither voice, nor any to answer, nor any that regarded. 30 And Elijah said unto all the people, Come near unto me. And all the people came near unto him. And he repaired the altar of the Lord that was broken down. 31 And Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, unto whom the word of the Lord came, saying, Israel shall be thy name: 32 And with the stones he built an altar in the name of the Lord: and he made a trench about the altar, as great as would contain two measures of seed. 33 And he put the wood in order, and cut the bullock in pieces, and laid him on the wood, and said, Fill four barrels with water, and pour it on the burnt sacrifice, and on the wood. 34 And he said, Do it the second time. And they did it the second time. And he said, Do it the third time. And they did it the third time. 35 And the water ran round about the altar; and he filled the trench also with water. 36 And it came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near, and said, Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word. 37 Hear me, O Lord, hear me, that this people may know that thou art the Lord God, and that thou hast turned their heart back again. 38 Then the fire of the Lord fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench. 39 And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, The Lord, he is the God; the Lord, he is the God.

We read in the above account that the priests of Ba’al, who were actually Hebrew priests seduced by the paganistic beliefs of Queen Jezebel, could not make it rain when they called upon their God Ba’al.   Why am I mentioning this and how does it apply to us today?

Interestingly, Jesus Christ referred to Queen Jezebel (metaphorically speaking) to point out false religion and spiritual seduction which would be taking place in the Church prior to His return. OUCH!!!

21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. 22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. 23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. 24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden. A Closer Look at The Rapture (Part 1)

There are people today denying there will be a rapture, or catching up, to be with the Lord Jesus. As absurd as this sounds, even within the Body of Christ many believers are being told that there is no rapture. I wrote this three-part post a few years ago. However, in light of the acceleration of prophetic events I really sensed a nudging from the Spirit of God to repost them. Please read them. I trust you will be blessed:

When studying our Bibles, we have to look at what else happened in a given location to understand the full dimension of its spiritual and theological significance. That being said, let’s look at some of the people who were raptured and some who were resurrected:

Genesis 5:21-27—And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah: 22 And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: 23 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years: 24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

A couple of interesting points in this reference to note here is that for starters, Enoch walked or fellowshipped with God.In others He knew God and He obeyed God despite the world that was in contrast around him. From the very beginning, God had a relationship with Adam and Eve that found them “walking in the garden in the cool of the day

Genesis 3:8—And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden.

So God created man for the enjoyment of a walking relationship that involved companionship, dialogue, intimacy, joint decision-making, mutual delight, and shared dominion. Prior to the rapture of the Church, the Church must be doing so likewise. Here is the interesting part: Enoch must have discovered something even Adam may not have experience. He pressed into God until he learned how to commune with God through every facet of life. To find that dimension of relationship certainly required an intense spiritual pursuit, and then when he found it, the Lord made a graphic statement by taking him up to heaven.

As we walk with Him, he will open the Scriptures to us through the Spirit of wisdom and revelation and reveal to us the light of the glory of God that is to be found in Him.

When we walk with God, we enter the dimension where God unfolds the secrets of his kingdom.

Deuteronomy 29:29—The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law. (in this case, law = the teaching and instructions of God.)

Matthew 13:11-16— He answered and said unto them, “Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven, but to them it is not given. 12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance. But whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that which he hath. 13 Therefore speak I to them in parables, because seeing, they see not, and hearing, they hear not, neither do they understand. 14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, which saith, ‘By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive. 15 For this people’s heart has waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.’ 16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear.

These are the paths that the Old Testament Patriarchs travelled before us. Noah knew the secret of walking with God:

Genesis 6:9–These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

Although he was not raptured, Noah and his family were spared from the judgment which was in the form of the global flood. Abraham also knew the secret of walking with God.

Genesis 24:40— And he (Abraham) said unto me, The Lord, before whom I walk, will send his angel with thee, and prosper thy way; and thou shalt take a wife for my son of my kindred, and of my father’s house….

Even Daniel understood the secret things of God:

Daniel 4:7-9—Then came in the magicians, the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers; and I told the dream before them, but they did not make known unto me the interpretation thereof. 8 But at the last Daniel came in before me, whose name was Belteshazzar, according to the name of my god, and in whom is the spirit of the holy gods; and before him I told the dream, saying,
9 ‘O Belteshazzar, master of the magicians, because I know that the spirit of the holy gods is in thee and no secret troubleth thee, tell me the visions of my dream that I have seen and the interpretation thereof.

As New Testament believers, we are instructed to “walk,” by faith:

2 Corinthians 5:1-7–For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: 3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. 4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. 5 Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: 7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

bible mysteies revealed

Through Christ, we can explore the glorious riches of knowing God like they did—and to even a greater degree because of the Spirit which has been given to us! The mysteries of God are always unveiled to the faithful Church. In preparing for the return of the LORD, there are three specific mysteries which must be unveiled in order to fully comprehend the end-time events that are to come. They are:

1. The mystery of Iniquity:

2 Thessalonians 2:1-7–Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and by our gathering together unto Him, 2 that ye be not soon shaken in mind or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as if from us that the Day of Christ is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means, for that Day shall not come, unless there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sitteth as God in the temple of God, showing himself to be God. 5 Remember ye not that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6 And now ye know what withholdeth, that he might be revealed in his time7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now holdeth back will hold him back, until he is taken out of the way.

2. The mystery of Israel and the Church

Romans 11:25-32For I, brethren, would not have you be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits: that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in.
26 And so all Israel shall be saved, as it is written: “There shall come out of Zion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob. 27 For this is My covenant unto them when I shall take away their sins.” 28 Concerning the Gospel, they are enemies for your sake; but concerning the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sakes. 29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
30 For as in times past ye have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief, 31 even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.
32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that He might have mercy upon all.

3. The mystery of the Rapture itself:

1 Corinthians 15:51-58— Behold, I show you a mystery: We shall not all sleep; but we shall all be changed
52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” 55 “O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” 56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ! 58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, for ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

In addition, it merits mentioning here also that for those who do not comprehend the mystery of faith, the mystery of the Gospel and the mystery of Christ, they may not truly comprehend the mystery of the return of Christ:

1 Timothy 3:7-9—Moreover he must have a good reputation with those who are outsiders, lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil. 8 Likewise must the deacons be serious, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy for filthy lucre, 9 holding the mystery of the faith with a pure conscience.

Ephesians 6:18-20— praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. 19 And pray for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the Gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in bonds, that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

Ephesians 3:1-6— For this cause I, Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles— 2 if ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me toward you, 3 how by revelation He made known unto me the mystery (as I wrote before in a few words, 4 whereby when ye read this, ye may understand my knowledge of the mystery of Christ), 5 which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto His holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit: 6 that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ by the Gospel,

Now getting back to Enoch. It is very important to know that the Bible clearly tells us in addition, when Enoch was raptured, his son, who represented the next generation lived for 969 years which is close to 1,000 years. We know that the name Methuselah means, “when he is dead it shall be sent.” Notice that after the Rapture, ultimately the next generation that will continue into the Millennial Kingdom will also last 1,000 years.  As grim as this may sound, in addition, after the Rapture of the Church, death will be sent as the Seal, Trumpet and Bowl Judgments in the Book of Revelation come to pass.

Revelation 6:4— And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

Revelation 6:7-8—7 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. 8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

Mid-East Prophetic Alignment Accelerating

Just a few weeks ago, the Doomsday Clock was pushed to two minutes to midnight (11:58) , a reflection of experts’ beliefs that the threat of global nuclear destruction is worse than at any time since 1953. In addition, it has only been a week since Israel’s airstrike in Syria and much has transpired moving forward. The pieces of the prophecy puzzle are being put into place at breakneck speed.

As this post is being written, Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamn Netanyahu is attending a global summit entitled the Munich Security Conference. Netanyahu was quotes as saying the following, ” I am leaving now for the most important security conference in the world the Munich Security Conference. I will present proof of Iran”s involvement in the recent events in the north and I will reiterate our determination to defend ourselves by ourselves without any restrictions ‘against any threat’. Here is the link to the article:

Netanyahu went on to describe Turkey’s role as being a threat to Isreal, “What is not new is Iran’s ties with Turkey as well as with the Palestinians.” This would also include Hamas and Hezbollah. Interesting to see how this is clearly laid out in Scriptures:

Psalm 83: 1-18Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God.For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head. They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones. They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance. For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah.Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison:10 Which perished at Endor: they became as dung for the earth.11 Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna:12 Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession.13 O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind.14 As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire;15 So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm.16 Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O Lord.17 Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:18 That men may know that thou, whose name alone is Jehovah, art the most high over all the earth.

Not only have Turkey and Iran been directly involved in Syria, now come reports that its was Russia that gave Syria the directive to strike down the Israeli F-16. Furthermore, it beears mentioning that Russia, Iran, Israel and Turkey have all had aircraft shot down in or near Syria this month. Folks these are the parties mentioned clearly in Ezekiel 38-39. For a detailed Scriptural analysis of this war see the follwing links on this web page:

Approximately three years ago, I posted an article that explained the possible connection of the Syria with the emergence of Anti-Christ and I strongly urge you to re-read it:

Now there are reports that the US has conducted airstrikes in Syria that have claimed the lives of hundreds of Russion mercenary soldiers. It is being reported that an American UAV Took out a Russion T-72 in Syria “self-defense” and in a separate engagement, scores of Russian contract soldiers were killed by US force. These two armed engagements between Russia and the United States. represent the deadliest clash between the two Superpowers since the Cold War! See below:

I forgot to mention Turkey. Troubling news this morning from both US and Kurdish media sources revealed that Turkish troops have used rockets with chemical warheads. Here is the Kurdish report:

If you recall earlier this week, presidential candidate Emmanuel Macron stated that an U.N.-authorized international military force should intervene in Syria if it is proven that President Bashar al-Assad’s government used chemical weapons.

I am curious to hear what China’s role is in this entire ordeal. Nonetheless as mentioned earlier, the prophetic pieces are all coming together in rapid succession.

Israel Launched Largest Airstrike in Syria in 36 Years!

Just this weekend prophetically significant developments in the Middle East have emerged pertaining to  a major escalation in Syria and it involves Israel AND Iran!

It is being reported that Iran sent one of its drones into Israeli airspace from Syria. This drone ultimately found its way intruding into Israeli airspace. As it entered Israeli airspace an IAF Apache chopper intercepted and destroyed the Iranian drone.

However, the F-16 was shot down by Syrian air defenses and crashed in Northern Israel, east of Haifa.  Both pilots ejected, but were injured,  This was the first time an Israeli manned aircrafy has been shot down in the Syrian confluct.

As a result, Prime MinisterBenjamin Netanyahu called for an emergancy session of his defense chiefs in Tel Aviv. Israel then  responded  with the largest airstrikes in Syria since 1982.  Numerous air defenses and military facilities have been targeted( at least 12 other Iranian and Syrian targets according to the IAF Air Order Of Battle (AOOB). Several of these facilities were either in or near the vicinity of Damascus. The heavy fire between Syria and Israel continued to escalate, with Israel promising to exact a heavy price from Syria and Iran. It is very likely that Isaiah 17 could literally come to pass and ultimately the prophetic fulfillment of Ezekiel 38-39 is not that far behind.

Isaiah 17: 1-4 & 14–The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap. The cities of Aroer are forsaken: they shall be for flocks, which shall lie down, and none shall make them afraid. The fortress also shall cease from Ephraim, and the kingdom from Damascus, and the remnant of Syria: they shall be as the glory of the children of Israel, saith the Lord of hosts. And in that day it shall come to pass, that the glory of Jacob shall be made thin, and the fatness of his flesh shall wax lean.  14 And behold at eveningtide trouble; and before the morning he is not. This is the portion of them that spoil us, and the lot of them that rob us.

The entire Chapter of Jeremiah 49 deserves tbe examined but  note verses 23 -27:

Jeremiah 49: 23-27—Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet. 24 Damascus is waxed feeble, and turneth herself to flee, and fear hath seized on her: anguish and sorrows have taken her, as a woman in travail. 25 How is the city of praise not left, the city of my joy! 26 Therefore her young men shall fall in her streets, and all the men of war shall be cut off in that day, saith the Lord of hosts.27 And I will kindle a fire in the wall of Damascus, and it shall consume the palaces of Benhadad.

Just yesterday, it was also being reported  that Israel is sending ground troops and other reinforcements to the Golan front. If you look at the map bove, this is the Golan Height and one of teh most strategic miltary defense points in Israel not far from the Syrian border.

Yahya Sinwar, the leader of Hamas in Gaza, reportedly stated that war with Israel was likely to erupt within the next few days and this was just last week:

Hezbollah sees the downing of the F-16 as a major steppingstone to ultimately defeating Israel. To make matters more complicated, the air defense network used against the Israeli Air Force Sufa’s is controlled through Russian forces Air Defense Head Quarters at Hmeimim Air Base. This means Russia may have took part in the ambush.

Russia has asked Israel to cool off and it is now being reported the Prime Minister Benjmin Netanyahu may resign this week due to allegations of corruption. Whether this really happens remains to be seen. It must be noted, the Benjamin Netanyahu is seen as a major thorn in the development of a Two-State solution and that his removal could open the door to a more liberal-minded Zionist Leader willing to agree to a Two-state deal.

These developments ocurring just months removed from the 7oth anniversary of Israel becoming a nation (May 14, 1948) is no coincidence at all. The pieces of this prophetic puzzle are rapidly coming together and the 70th Week of Danel is fast approaching…….

If you recall, back in July of 2017 a watershed moment in Bble prophecy came to pass. The Jordanian Waqf effectively lost control of the Temple Mount for the first time since 1967.  Since then, it has been under the watch of the Israeli police.  You may want refer to this previous post for further review:

Also, just recently, the U.S. opely acknowledged recognition of Israel’s right to Jerusalem. See previous post here:

Since last July,  Jewish worshipers have begun showing increasing determination to pray at the Temple Mount. Just a few days ago  42 Jews have openly prayed and worshiped on the Temple Mount. See video below:

Interestingly enough, these men were not attacked at all. There was no rioting that ensued. This was a a valiant act.But what caught my attention is the number of Jews that attempted this feat, the number 42. You see, the number Forty-two is a number with a direct connection to the coming Antichrist. His evil efforts will last 42 months in the end time, and thus forty-two is firmly associated with him.

Revelation 11:1-2And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

In Revelation Chapter 13 you also have the emergenece of two key figures that arise to power: the Anti-Christ and the false prophet:

Revelation13:1-5And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

Notice the number 42 again.  There is speculation a final “two-state solution” would almost have to include some sort of division of the Temple Mount, which would finally allow Israel at least some area to build a temple.

After  the U.S. now  Guatemala, Honduras, Panama, have all come on board   supporting an undivided Jerusalem. There also have been talks that it seems that Egypt ‘unofficially’ recognises this as well, and has been making noise about the Palestinians needing to be content with Ramallah as its own capital. Now if  Egypt and Palestine cave and then Ramallah becomes the P.A. capital, that would give Israel a straight path to building the temple. But what is more likely to happen is possibly a war in the Middle East that will be followed the emergence of the Anti-Christ.

Israel was officially regathered on May 14, 1948. This year, on May 14, 2018, they will have been back in their own land for exactly 70 years.

The Church will not be here for the time of Jacob’s trouble, Israel will be in the spotlight. The Church will be removed at the Rapture before all that. But how fitting would it be for God to have a major move of prophecy on the 70th anniversary of the miracle of the fulfillment of the regathering of the Jews? Israel being back in the land was fulfillment of Bible prophecy.

2018 indeed is shaping u to what will very likely be a prophetically significant year.

Hawaiian Punch

Unless you are a native of the Hawaiian Islands you may not be privy to what unfolded this weekend. Apparently, residents and visitors vactaioning in Hawaii received a very troubling message. Text alerts were sent indicating the following: “Ballistic missile threat inbound. Seek immediate shelter. This is not a drill.”

According to the Hawaii Emergency Management Agency, this was an error as the notification was sent by mistake and that the employee on staff had pushed the wrong button. Needless to say, what ensued after this message was erroneously sent was panic, and pandemonium. It was reported that people i the streets were running and screaming and people were trying to seek shelter both for theimselves as well as their children. For a few moments, I cannot fathom what went through the minds of many people. Ultimately it was confirmed that as a false alarm.

As you know, over the last few months, there has been some saber rattling between the leader of North Korea and our current president regarding Nuclear Arms. The cluster of Pacific islands that make up Hawaii are located west of mainland US and lies some 4,661 miles away from North Korea. As Kim Jong-un has been building up his nuclear arsenal, some of the missiles have a range of up to 6,000 miles.

Vern Miyagi, of the Hawaii’s Emergency Management Agency,  predicted that Hawaii’s residents would theoretically only have 15 minutes to seek shelter. He said: “Pacific Command would take about fives minutes to characterise a launch, where the missile is going, which means the population would have about 15 minutes to take shelter.”It’s not much time at all. But it is enough time to give yourself a chance to survive.”

So again, you can imagine the dread and fear that gripped many in Hawaii for those few waning moments. Welcome to 2018!!! If you have been visiting this site and/or if you are a student of Bible prophecy, it is fairly evident that we are living in the signs of the times, signs that Jesus Christ in Matthew 24:

Matthew 24 1-44— And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) 16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.25 Behold, I have told you before.26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together. 29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Again, although I do not live in Hawaii, I thank God this was a false alarm, However, if it were the real thing, how could one prepare? Although some countries do have underground bunker systems in place to cope with such a thing. sales for underground bumkers have been booming here in the U.S.. For what it’s worth, it does bring an interesting scripture to light:

Revelation 6:12-15— 12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; 13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. 14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. 15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

I for one am not fear-mongering nor would I want to incite fear in anyone. However, one must face the reality that if what the Bible says is true, then we must be ready when the real thing happens.

The Bible tells us to take note of these things and be ready. I also have an alternative for those looking to purchase bunkers:

John 14:1-4-Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

What is of utmost importance is for you to ask yourself where will you spend eternity? The truth of the matter is that we are edging closer and closer to the end of the Church Age and the Tribulation period is moments away.

I Thessalonians 5:11-–But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

Going back to Matthew 24 note how the chapter ends:

Matthew 24:43-51—But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

I believe bible Prophecy is indeed “Meat in Due Season” and we must come terms with where we want to spend eternity. When one falls asleep, sometimes it takes a nudge, a push, a pinch in the arm or even a “punch” to wake them up:

Romans 13:11-12And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

What would you do if you only had moments to live and a “real” missile was incoming? Would you call your family members? Would call on the name of the LORD?

I urge you to accept the free gift of salvation and confess Jesus as LORD and Savior. How do you do that. Simply click on the “Salvation Plan,” which is on the top left section of this website, It will be the best decision you ever made.
