If You Build it…..HE Will Come.

As the 2016 baseball season is ready to “swing” into action in just a few days, a film comes to mind that was made 25 years ago.  An iconic 1989 baseball film that was filmed in Dyersville, Iowa. In a pivotal scene, the main character, Ray, heard a voice that said, “If you build it, he will come.” (In this case it was referring to Ray Kinsella’s departed father, John.)

It was recently reported that in Sao Paulo, Brazil, a larger then full-size replica of Solomon’s Temple, otherwise know as El Templo de Salomão has been built by the Universal Church Kingdom of God.

Architect and project designer Rogério Silva de Araújo explained that the measurements were taken directly from the Bible. “A cubit was the distance between the elbow and the fingertips—which corresponded to 18 inches or 52.4 centimeters,” he explained. “Based on this piece of information, it was possible to calculate that the house king Solomon built for the Lord was approximately 31.44 meters long, 10.48 meters wide and 15.72 meters high.

temple in sao pauloThe floor and the walls are covered in $8 million worth of Jerusalem stone brought from Israel and, as in the original Temple, the main doors are made of wood and lined with copper.

Any serious Bible student knows that in the very near future, the Holy Temple has to be rebuilt in Jerusalem. This too is under way and is being led by Rabbi Chaim Richman, who is the International Director of the Temple Institute, which is dedicated to the rebuilding of the Holy Temple in Jerusalem.

But what is really an oddity that is coming to fruition is this: NEXT month,  part of the Temple of Baal that stood in Palmyra, Syria will be reconstructed in Times Square in New York City as well as in Trafalgar Square in London, England. The specific portion that is being erected in both cases is the 48-foot-tall arch that stood at the entrance to the temple of Baal.

Ba’al,” is the Hebrew term for “husband,” “master,” and “owner.” If you recall, in the Old Testament, Jehovah was to be Israel’s “Ba’al”

Isaiah 54:5-7 (AMP)—“For your husband is your Maker, The Lord of hosts is His name And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel,Who is called the God of the whole earth.“For the Lord has called you, Like a wife who has been abandoned, grieved in spirit, And like a wife [married] in her youth when she is [later] rejected and scorned,” Says your God. “For a brief moment I abandoned you,
But with great compassion and mercy I will gather you [to Myself again].

Jeremiah 3 :14 (AMP)—‘Return, O faithless children [of the twelve tribes],’ says the Lord,‘For I am a master and husband to you, And I will take you [not as a nation, but individually]—one from a city and two from a [tribal] family— And I will bring you to Zion.’

In similar fashion, in the New Testament, Jesus Christ is the bridegroom of the Church. The pagan Canaanite god Ba’al was a false husband attempting to identify himself with the God of Scriptures. This god also came with a spring resurrection narrative, if you will. Ba’al evolved from the chief god of the city of ancient Babylon known as Marduk, and Marduk can be traced back to an actual historical person. This historical person was known in Sumerian literature as “King Enmerkar”, and in the Bible he was known as none other then “Nimrod.”

Interesting to not as Spring is here, so comes news of that an arch from the Temple of Baal that is nearly five stories high is going to be erected in Times Square as well as in Trafalgar Square across the pond!

But it doesn’t stop there. Plans are under way to ultimately reconstruct several arches to be replicated in more cities worldwide. The Institute of Digital Archeology plans to construct approximately 1,000 such versions of the arch in cities throughout the world.

According to several traditions, the original Freemason was Nimrod. It was Nimrod who created the very first “New World Order” in the post-flood world. All of the major gods of ancient Babylon, Greece and Rome ultimately trace back to him or traditions surrounding him. And interestingly enough, all other gods according to Moses and the Apostle Paul are demonic and become misrepresented as the One True God of the Christians and the Jews by taking the same name and mimicking His actions.

But for many modern occultists, the story of Nimrod is far from over. Perhaps, it just may have begun. A lot of secret societies and occult groups have traditions that tell them that Nimrod/Marduk/Osiris/Apollo/Baal will someday be resurrected and will once again rule the world.

And many Bible scholars contend that the coming Antichrist will either be a resurrected Nimrod or will be associated with him in some way.

However, it was the prophet Elijah who battled Ba’al and Jezebel in the Old Testament. The false god he opposed was Baal, the favorite deity of Jezebel, wife of King Ahab of Israel. To please Jezebel, Ahab had altars erected to Baal, and the queen murdered God’s prophets. Elijah challenged the 450 prophets of Baal and the 400 prophets of the false god Asherah to a showdown on Mount Carmel

In the New Testament it was John the Baptist who in the spirit of Elijah, came into conflict with Herod and Herodias.

Luke 1:13-17(KJV)–But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John. And thou shalt have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth. For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother’s womb. And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God. And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

Prior to the return of the LORD once again it will be Elijah, one of the two final witnesses, who will contend with Anti-Christ, the False Prophet and the spiritual seduction that is increasingly deepening worldwide.

But here is the most shocking part of it all. The priests of Ba’al were actual Hebrews that were “seduced,” by the foreign beliefs of the pagan queen Jezebel.

1 Timothy 4:1—Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

In the Bible, Jezebel is always associated with spiritual seduction and representing false religion(s).

Revelation 2:18-20 (KJV)-–And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass; I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first. Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.

God's Remnant

Is the true Church oblivious to all of this? A hard truth that we must come to terms with is that even today, churches in this country as well as in Europe are facing difficult challenges with a lack of discipleship and qualified leadership.

Nonetheless, God indeed  is raising up a faithful remnant at a time where Christianity is being seduced by Paganism.
