The Year 20/20: Whose Side Are You On?

It’s been months since my last blog but as 2019 comes to a close I sensed a strong urge to get back to writing especially due to the times we are living in and the approaching Year 2020. I want to stay committed to purpose of this website which is Bible prophecy for today: to examine current events in light of Biblical Scriptures.

When Joshua crossed over into the promised land, he was met by an angel with its sword drawn. Joshua knew instantly that this was a warrior, and he asked the angel, “Are you for us? Or are you for our enemies?” The angel’s response was an interesting one:

Joshua 5:13-14—Now when Joshua was near Jericho, he looked up and saw a man standing in front of him with a drawn sword in his hand. Joshua went up to him and asked, “Are you for us or for our enemies?”14 “Neither,” he replied, “but as commander of the army of the Lord I have now come.” Then Joshua fell facedown to the ground in reverence, and asked him, “What message does my Lord have for his servant?”

As 2019 comes to an end, brace yourself for what will be a very exciting 2020! All that has transpired in this world, in the United States and especially the Middle East, God is not oblivious to what has been happening. As a matter of fact, He is about to step in the affairs of the world in a mighty way.

Isaiah 46:9-10–Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

It goes with out saying that prophetic events are accelerating at a breakneck speed and much of what the prophets of the Old Testament and Jesus Christ Himself spoke about is rapidly coming to pass.

2 Peter 3: 9-14—The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

The Church Age has existed for 2000+ years. Although God gives mankind the right to choose, ultimately, there comes a time, that liberty produces another byproduct of that liberty which is Justice. Without liberty there is no justice. To make good choices based on God’s law and His commandments produces blessings, but to do evil in the sight of God according to His giving men the right to liberty, there comes a time when justice will be enacted.

Justice is coming in 2020!!!

Many prophesied events that culminate in the Second Coming of Jesus Christ are not far removed from coming to pass. I will cover these events and write about them in upcoming posts.

The question you must ask your self today is “Whose side are YOU on?

John 3:16–For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Romans 6:23  For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord

Romans 5:1-9—Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope:And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

Stay tuned for exciting posts as 2020 is just hours away.
