The Other Domain and the Genesis Mandate Part I
God wants humanity to be part of His family and of His rule over creation. From the very beginning, God wanted His human family to live with Him in a perfect World— along with the family he already had in the other domain or the unseen world (His heavenly Hosts) .
In the ancient world, kings often ruled through their extended families. Kingship was passed on to heirs. Dominion was a family business. God is Lord of His Council. His sons and daughters have the highest rank by virtue of their relationship with Him. Divine Council: The divine Council meetings in Psalm 82 & 1 Kings 22 are not the only ones related to us in the Bible. Some of them determined the fate of empires.. In Daniel 4, Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, was punished by God with temporary insanity, due to his pride. That sentenced was handed down by the “decree of the Most High (and the decree of the Watchers—
Daniel 4:15-17-— Nevertheless leave the stump of his roots in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts in the grass of the earth: 16 Let his heart be changed from man’s, and let a beast’s heart be given unto him; and let seven times pass over him. 17 This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones : to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.
Daniel 4:23-24 — And whereas the king saw a watcher and an holy one coming down from heaven , and saying, Hew the tree down, and destroy it; yet leave the stump of the roots thereof in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts of the field, till seven times pass over him; 24 This is the interpretation, O king, and this is the decree of the most High , which is come upon my lord the king
NOTE: The Bible says God has a task force of divine beings who carry out His decisions. It’s referred to as God’s Assembly, Council, or Court:
Psalm 89:5-7 (NLT)– All heaven will praise your great wonders, L ORD ; myriads of angels will praise you for your faithfulness. 6 For who in all of heaven can compare with the L ORD ? What mightiest angel is anything like the LORD ? 7 The highest angelic powers stand in awe of God. He is far more awesome than all who surround his throne. 8 O L ORD God of Heaven’s Armies. Where is there anyone as mighty as you, O L ORD ?
AMPC— Let heaven (the angels) praise Your wonders, O Lord, Your faithfulness also in the assembly of the holy ones (the holy angels). 6 For who in the heavens can be compared to the Lord? Who among the mighty [heavenly beings] can be likened to the Lord, 7 A God greatly feared and revered in the council of the holy (angelic) ones , and to be feared and worshipfully revered above all those who are round about Him? 8 O Lord God of hosts, who is a mighty one like unto You, O Lord? And Your faithfulness is round about You [an essential part of You at all times].
Daniel 7:9-10 (AMPC)— ………I kept looking until thrones were placed [for the assessors with the Judge], and the Ancient of Days [God, the eternal Father] took His seat, whose garment was white as snow and the hair of His head like pure wool. His throne was like the fiery flame; its wheels were burning fire. 10 A stream of fire came forth from before Him; a thousand thousands ministered to Him and ten thousand times ten thousand rose up and stood before Him; the Judge was seated [the court was in session] and the books were opened.
Psalm 82:1— God stands in the assembly [of the representatives] of God; in the midst of the magistrates or judges He gives judgment [as] among the gods.
These biblical scenes of Divine Council sessions tell us God’s Council members participate in God’s rule. In addition, Angels participate in God’s Council as well.
In the original language of the Bible, Angel in the both testaments means “messenger”. Angels deliver messages to God’s people. Angels carry out the commandments of the Lord:
Psalm 103:20-21— Bless the L ORD , ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word . 21 Bless ye the L ORD , all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.
Hebrews 1:13-14 — But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? 14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
Hebrews 13:2 — Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. God shouldn’t need help to do anything, even in the Spiritual world. He’s God! But the Bible is clear that he chooses lesser beings to get things done. In the Bible.
The “Other Domain,” otherwise known as age unseen world has structure. God is CEO. Those who work for Him are His family. They share Dominion. They participate in how the company or KINGDOM of God operate. (To Be Continued)
