IS THE BIG ONE NEXT???
Matthew 24:7—For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
Over the last few days there has been a series of major quakes that have occurred in an area otherwise referred to as the Ring of Fire. Four earthquakes were recorded around the globe, including three major quakes in the last 72 hours. Notice the one area that has yet to be struck with a large scale quake. Granted several tremors have been recorded alongside the west coast of the U. S. Nonetheless, a quake similar to the other three “Big” ones hasn’t occurred.

In the past ten years alone there have been 408 earthquakes of magnitude 6.5 to 9.0 to occur. In 2015 there were 61 quakes within this magnitude range; 49 in 2014; 57 in 2013; 42 in 2012 and 52 in 2011.
A 6.4-magnitude earthquake hit Southern Japan, killing nine and injuring more than 850 others. 44,000 people were evacuated from the town of Mashiki. There is a known concentration of faults in the area. Still, experts say it is highly unusual to have a string of quakes measuring around magnitude 6 and stretching over such a vast area. The series of quakes in demonstrate a pattern that would literally divide this country in half.

This quake in Japan was followed by a 5.9-magnitude earthquake which struck off the coast of the southern Philippines.
A 6-magnitude earthquake also struck off the coast of the Pacific island of Vanuatu, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
Ecuador was struck with a 7.8 magnitude earthquake. It is being reported that tremors were felt 300 miles away on the country of Colombia!
Earlier last week, a magnitude 6.9 earthquake struck Myanmar, Burma, causing tremors around the region. Tremors were also reported in the neighboring country of Bangladesh where scores were reported injured in stampedes and buildings were damaged.
In the last two days alone, earthquakes have struck regions in the far Pacific like Fiji and Tonga, while smaller earthquakes have rattled portions of Japan, Ecuador, Guatemala, El Salvador, Chile, Alaska, California, Indonesia, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, the Adriatic Sea, the Strait of Gibraltar, the Hawaiian Islands, and Greece.
But that is not all. Alongside this sudden spate of quakes, some of the biggest volcanoes in the world are now beginning to wake up. During this century, there have been an average of 35 volcanic eruptions a year. Only four months into 2016 and we have already surpassed that mark!
Just less then 24 hours ago, the most dangerous volcano in Mexico erupted. Mt. Popocateptl which is derived from an Aztec word that means “smoking mountain”, spewed ashes that affected much of the city of Puebla, forcing the closure of the local airport.
Where will the next big earthquake strike or how long will this current seismic episode last ? Will history repeat itself?
On April 18th of 1906, a magnitude 7.8 earthquake hit San Francisco on April 18th of that year. However, did you know that it occurred in conjunction with two other quakes:
On January 31st, 1906 , ECUADOR experienced an earthquake measured at 8.8 on the Richter scale, and just a few months later a 7.1 earthquake struck JAPAN on March 17th of the same year!
Folks, these two regions have been struck again with similar quakes and this time it has occurred within days and not months.
What we do know for a surety is that there will be many more such events and they will increase in both severity and intensity as the Day of the LORD draws near.
Joel 3:2—I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land. (…or divided the country)
Keep in mind that in the past, when actions have been taken against the land of Israel, judgments have occurred. In, 2005, the U. S. pressured Israel into giving up up a bunch of their settlements and within 24 hours of that Hurricane Katrina ravaged many of our settlements. Another case in point AND TAKE HEED TO THIS ONE: Japan took action against Israel and within a short amount of time the Japan earthquake and tsunami occurred.
I cannot emphasize how important it is to understand that Israel becomes the focal point of end-time events after the Rapture of the church.
And now it appears as if a resolution may be voted on at the U.N. Security Council on April 22nd regarding (dividing!) the land of Israel.
The Palestinian Authority distributed a draft resolution this week condemning construction in the settlements to a number of members of the UN Security Council. A senior Palestinian official has mentioned Mahmoud Abbas will be arriving in New York on April 22, Passover eve, to be present personally for the planned vote.
As you just read this Palestinian plan is attempting to stop construction in the settlement. Not only will the Palestinian plan be voted on but also the French plan that divides the land of Israel outright will also be presented.
Furthermore, it is being reported that the current president of the United States is saying all options are on the table when it comes to getting this two state resolution passed. On April 22nd, 2 resolutions will be presented to the UN Security Council to be put to a vote. The president has expressed concern and has often stated that something must be done about the violence in the Middle East, indicating that he will push one of these two resolutions through the UN on the 22nd. The real question here is which one will be passed? Will it be the Palestian plan to stop settlement building or the France plan to divide the land entirely?
Forget the west coast. Should we be paying attention to the Madrid Fault line which literally “divides,” the U. S. in half??
That being said, it appears as if at least one if not both resolutions are in position to pass the U.N. security council, and if so they would be presented for a full vote at a later time in the near future.
Matthew 27: 51-54—Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.
There was an earthquake at the death of Jesus Christ. There was an earthquake at the resurrection of Jesus Christ. I for one, am of the impression that there will most likely be seismic activity of gargantuan proportions when the Dead in Christ are resurrected at the Rapture of the Church.
The bride of Christ was commanded by Christ to know the seasons. We are all commanded to be looking expectantly for signs of His coming in the Harpazo.
We are to be very much knowledgable of the time and the season .We do know in part right now but I truly believe the blinders are being removed from our eyes everyday.
Could it be that this global seismic activity is a pre-cursor to the Rapture???
