Is the Battle of Gog and Magog Formulating Before Our Very Own Eyes: Are You Ready???

Gog:Magog WarMatthew 25:1-10— Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

Psalm 119:105-–Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

It goes without saying that in the times we are living in, it is paramount that we are studying God’s Word and taking heed to the prophetic events that are in the Bible regarding the times of the end. I am convinced that our understanding of Scriptures is foundational in demonstrating our faith in God and His Holy Writ. In other words, our measure of faithfulness to God in these last days is connected to how much we understand His Word and then apply it in our own lives of course.

Daniel 12:8-10—And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

You may say, ” Does not the Bible say, no one knows when Jesus will return,”

1 Thessalonians 5:1-9—-But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

Remember in the Parable of the 10 Virgins, (Matthew 25) 5 of the virgins did not have oil in their lamps. Thus, is it possible for the church to be aloof and unaware of what is happening? According to this parable, YES! Let’s also look at the following Scriptures:

Ephesians 5:8-16—For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Romans 13:11-14-And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

Either you can choose to believe what the Scriptures are saying or you can choose not to. It is entirely up to you. That being said, lets’ take a close look as to what has been transpiring as of late in the Middle East…….

As of recently, Russia has been steadily conducting military operations……..IN THE MIDDLE EAST………for the FIRST time since World War II. What is even more interesting is that these military operations are being conducted in Syria, just north of Israel and not too far from the Golan Heights.  For the discerning a student of Scriptures, it is very obvious God is not in the business of keeping people out of the loop of what is happening in the world.

Every year, on the Sabbath that falls during the week of Sukkot, the section of the Books of Prophets that is read in synagogues all across the world comes from the Book of Ezekiel. Guess what chapters? I’m glad you asked: Ezekiel 38:18-39:16. This passage discusses the war of Gog and Magog which is predicted to come before the Final Redemption of the Jewish people. By the that sabbath was this weekend.

According to Rabbis and the Talmud, the time that has the highest chance to have this war is Sukkot, and especially this year, when it is the end of Shmittah.

I am NOT saying that the Battle of Gog and Magog is going to be this year. However, things are rapidly shaping up in the Middle East to the extent that this may be possible.

I have written extensively about the War of Gog and Magog that is mentioned in the Book of Ezekiel Chapters 38-39Here are the links to the four-part posts on the War of Gog and Magog:
