Put(t)in’ Things Into Perspective….
For those that have been following the information, Scriptural teachings, and updates from this website, you already all too familiar aware of the fact that Bible prophecy is the proof God is who He claims to be. He is omnipotent, omniscient and omni-present. The Lord proclaims that He has declared the final events of human history from the beginning of Scripture.
Isaiah 46:9-10–Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure
In other words, God sits outside of time. He is not in the past or in the future. He is eternal and encompasses all three; Past, Present & Future. Thus, He alone can proclaim the future through prophecy, predicting the very end of times the earliest pages of the Holy Writ.
I am convinced we are not only on the Last days of the Church Age prior to His return but also that as we are drawing closer to His return, prophetic events are going to accelerate in occurrence.
This week, Vladimir Putin’s announcement to execute a special military operation against Ukraine was a major stepping stone to the eventual fulfillment of End-Times Events. One can only wonder if his ultimate military objective is the re-conquest of ALL of the former Soviet Republics – Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Georgia and Azerbaijan, plus ALL of the former Warsaw Pact countries of eastern Europe from Poland to Bulgaria.
Before we get into that you may want to get up to speed with a major prophetic war that will occur in the near future as prophesied by the Prophet Ezekiel. I have discussed this in the past in the following articles:

Vladimir Putin, who himself is a billionaire (Google Putin’s Palace in the Black Sea), has been influenced by the desire to restore Mother Russia to greatness.
Ukraine and Russia are divided by a common history, both religiously and politically.
They trace their ancestry to the medieval kingdom of Kievan Rus, whose 10th century Prince Vladimir (Volodymyr in Ukrainian) rejected paganism, was baptized in Crimea and adopted Orthodoxy as the official religion.
In 2014, Putin cited that history in justifying his seizure of Crimea, a land he called “sacred” to Russia.
From a religious perspective, it has been said that Putin has been keen to present himself as a man of serious personal faith. He was born in St Petersburg in October 1952 to Vladimir and Maria. His father was a Soviet patriot, his mother a committed Christian. While he was an infant, a baptismal cross was given to Putin by his Christian mother when she had him secretly baptised in the early 1950s and it has apparently been an object of great sentimental value to him ever since.
Putin may be on a quest to re-establish the Russian Orthodox Church. His seat of power, Moscow is the Third Rome while Kyiv, Ukraine would be “the Jerusalem” of the Third and the last Roman Empire, thus making Ukraine very important to him.
Much more can be said about this.
As Christians our task is to pray for him, for the church leaders in Ukraine and for the People of Ukraine who are subject to the what is currently taking place there.
I Timothy 2:1-2–I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
Now some interesting facts concerning Ukraine. Did you know that Ukraine is currently ranked fourth in the world by the total value of natural resources. But of greater significance consider the following:
Ukraine is 1st in Europe in proven recoverable reserves of uranium ore. Furthermore, in terms of installed capacity of nuclear power plants, they are the 3rd largest in Europe and 8th largest in the world.. Ukraine is 3rd in all of Europe in shale gas reserves. They have the 2nd largest natural gas pipeline and the 4th largest natural gas pipeline in the world.
Without getting into detail it must be noted that Ukraine is an an important industrialized country and its independence is important to the rest of the world. They rank first in terms of arable land in Europe. They rank first in the world in the export of sunflower and sunflower oil. They rank second place in the world in burley production ad the 4th largest exporter of corn in the world. In other world, the world depends on the export business of Ukraine in many ways. Keep that in mind.
In simplest terms, NATO is short for The North Atlantic Treaty Organization , a 30-member alliance formed in the wake of WWII with the goal of protecting democratic freedom. As of 2021 NATO includes Albania, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Montenegro, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States.
NATO aggression amounts to the forward deployment of the Alliance’s Response Force, the European Union’s decision to arm Ukraine with top-notch weapons to combat Russia. In response, President Vladimir Putin ordered Russian nuclear deterrent forces put on alert Sunday in response to what he called “aggressive statements” by leading NATO.
The move means Putin has ordered Russia’s nuclear weapons prepared for increased readiness to launch, raising the threat that the tensions could boil over into a nuclear war.
Just a few days ago, the U.S. Government just admitted that this Russian/Ukrainian conflict is a war that will determine who will rule the new world order:

So according to the article, what you have is the implementation of a New World Order vs. the implementation of an Illiberal World Order.
Irregardless, the timing is ripe for the possibility of other conflicts to emerge: China vs. Taiwan (which would also include Japan), Iran & Syria vs.Israel. Earlier this week, the The IDF (Israeli Defense Force) used surface-to-surface missiles to strike a Hezbollah base in Quneitra .The IDF also dropped Arabic-language leaflets to warn the Syrian Army to stay clear of Hezbollah. Sound like more significant action coming soon
In others words, all global events that can lead to a possible World War 3. Think order out of chaos.
Now I am not inciting fear. Our God has not given us the Spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind:
2 Timothy 1:7--For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
He has also given us His Word, which we need to be reading and understanding through illumination of Scriptures by the Holy Spirit.
Now….Here comes the BIG “IF”……..
Just this week in addition to everything else that took place on the Global stage, if you will, Moscow took issue with Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights and Jerusalem just prior to its attack on Ukraine.Russia’s deputy ambassador, Dmitry Polyanskiy, told the UN Security Council, which held a debate on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict on Wednesday said:“Russia doesn’t recognize Israel’s sovereignty over Golan Heights that are part of Syria,”:

So why is this of prophetic importance??
The Golan Heights, a rocky plateau in south-western Syria, has a political and strategic significance which clearly become advantageous to its owner. As of now, both Iran and Lebanon would have direct access through Israel via the Golan Heights. I suggest this area may now be one of financial significance. More on that in a moment. Historically speaking, the British colonial power gave the Golan to France’s Syrian colony in 1923. After the 1948–49 Arab-Israeli War, the Golan Heights were partly demilitarized by the Israel-Syria Armistice Agreement. Furthermore, Syria attacked Israel in 1967 and lost the Golan Heights. Syria had occupied it for 44 years. During the closing stages of the Six-Day War in 1967, Israel seized the Golan Heights from Syria and as a result, most of the Syrian Arab inhabitants fled the area during this conflict.
Back in 2019, Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently thanked U.S. President Donald Trump for signing a proclamation recognizing Israel’s authority over the long-disputed Golan Heights two weeks before Israeli elections were set to take place. Benjamin Netanyahu also referred to Trump as a modern Cyrus after the signing of the Golan Heights recognition. In his remarks, Benjamin Netanyahu mentioned the great leaders through history who have had a profound influence on the Jewish people and the state of Israel, including King Cyrus who liberated the Jews and issued an edict for the rebuilding of the Jewish temple in Jerusalem.This was the second time the comparison was made.
For what it’s worth, remember that President Trump announced the moving of the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem and recognized it as Israel’s capital. This was done on May 14, 2018, 70 years from the very birth of the nation of Israel which was on May 14, 1948. By the way, Trump’s formal recognition of the Golan Heights occurred on Purim, the festival that recognizes the utter defeat of the enemies of Israel. That’s another message in itself.
Biblically speaking, the Bashan region, now known as the Golan Heights, is a part of the biblical territory promised to the Patriarch Abraham and the people of Israel for an everlasting covenant — the Covenant of the Parts — recounted in Genesis 15.
Genesis 15: 1-21—After these things the word of the Lord came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.2 And Abram said, Lord God, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus?3 And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir.4 And, behold, the word of the Lord came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir.5 And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.6 And he believed in the Lord; and he counted it to him for righteousness.7 And he said unto him, I am the Lord that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it.8 And he said, Lord God, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it?9 And he said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon.10 And he took unto him all these, and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the birds divided he not.11 And when the fowls came down upon the carcases, Abram drove them away.12 And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him.13 And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;14 And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.15 And thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age.16 But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.17 And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces.18 In the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:19 The Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites,20 And the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaims,21 And the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.
The city of Bashan was also one of three cities of refuge:
Deutoronomy 4: 40-49—40 Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which the Lord thy God giveth thee, for ever.41 Then Moses severed three cities on this side Jordan toward the sunrising;42 That the slayer might flee thither, which should kill his neighbour unawares, and hated him not in times past; and that fleeing unto one of these cities he might live:43 Namely, Bezer in the wilderness, in the plain country, of the Reubenites; and Ramoth in Gilead, of the Gadites; and Golan in Bashan, of the Manassites.44 And this is the law which Moses set before the children of Israel:45 These are the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which Moses spake unto the children of Israel, after they came forth out of Egypt.46 On this side Jordan, in the valley over against Bethpeor, in the land of Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt at Heshbon, whom Moses and the children of Israel smote, after they were come forth out of Egypt:47 And they possessed his land, and the land of Og king of Bashan, two kings of the Amorites, which were on this side Jordan toward the sunrising;48 From Aroer, which is by the bank of the river Arnon, even unto mount Sion, which is Hermon,49 And all the plain on this side Jordan eastward, even unto the sea of the plain, under the springs of Pisgah.
The town of Bashan was located in the middle of the Golan Heights. It was under the rule of an Amorite king, yet another giant whose name was Og. Now let’s fast forward to the 21st Century. What could make the Golan Heights even more valuable to Israel? How about the discovery of a huge oil deposit?
Back in 2015, The Russian Times (RT) and many other sources reported that Israel had indeed discovered a major deposit of oil on the Golan Heights. In addition, Israel granted a Golan Heights oil drilling license to an American Company. Recent tests have indicated that there very well may be large oil and gas deposits in the Golan!!!
This discovery just may help readers to understand why Russia is making such a strong play to support the Assad regime in Syria. It also may explain why former prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was lobbying the US to support its bid to annex the Golan Heights in view of the failed state of Syria. It appears that the prophetic scenario in Ezekiel 36-39 is beginning to take shape as Russia moves more military assets into and close to Syria. Turkey is also sending troops and has troops situated in Northern Syria. Iran too has troops amassed north of the Golan Heights. Is this the spoil and plunder that is spoken of in Ezekiel 39?? I don’t foresee the Golan Heights in a land for peace deal.
The bottom line here is that God’s prophetic word is coming to pass. It is very possible that the enemies of Israel are gathering for an attack from the Golan Heights. Remember, in the Bible whenever Israel was invaded, the invasion always came from the North.
Oh yeah, back to the BIG “IF”……….
IF Putin represents whom the Bible refers to as Gog, then somewhere within this military campaign God will place hooks in his jaws and drag him and his allies, from Iran to Africa, to their annihilation on the mountains of a much greater, much enlarged State of Israel, which would result from the prophetic fulfillment of the following:
Jeremiah 49:34-39—The word of the Lord that came to Jeremiah the prophet against Elam in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, saying,35 Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Behold, I will break the bow of Elam, the chief of their might.36 And upon Elam will I bring the four winds from the four quarters of heaven, and will scatter them toward all those winds; and there shall be no nation whither the outcasts of Elam shall not come.37 For I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies, and before them that seek their life: and I will bring evil upon them, even my fierce anger, saith the Lord; and I will send the sword after them, till I have consumed them:38 And I will set my throne in Elam, and will destroy from thence the king and the princes, saith the Lord.39 But it shall come to pass in the latter days, that I will bring again the captivity of Elam, saith the Lord.
Jeremiah 49:23-27–Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet.24 Damascus is waxed feeble, and turneth herself to flee, and fear hath seized on her: anguish and sorrows have taken her, as a woman in travail.25 How is the city of praise not left, the city of my joy!26 Therefore her young men shall fall in her streets, and all the men of war shall be cut off in that day, saith the Lord of hosts.27 And I will kindle a fire in the wall of Damascus, and it shall consume the palaces of Benhadad.
Isaiah 17:1-3–The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.2 The cities of Aroer are forsaken: they shall be for flocks, which shall lie down, and none shall make them afraid.3 The fortress also shall cease from Ephraim, and the kingdom from Damascus, and the remnant of Syria: they shall be as the glory of the children of Israel, saith the Lord of hosts.
Psalm 83—Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God.2 For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.3 They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.4 They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.5 For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:6 The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;7 Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;8 Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah.9 Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison:10 Which perished at Endor: they became as dung for the earth.11 Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna:12 Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession.13 O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind.14 As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire;15 So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm.16 Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O Lord.17 Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:18 That men may know that thou, whose name alone is Jehovah, art the most high over all the earth.
Isaiah 11:12-14–And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.13 The envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim.14 But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines toward the west; they shall spoil them of the east together: they shall lay their hand upon Edom and Moab; and the children of Ammon shall obey them.
Ezekiel 28:24-27—And there shall be no more a pricking brier unto the house of Israel, nor any grieving thorn of all that are round about them, that despised them; and they shall know that I am the Lord God.25 Thus saith the Lord God; When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to my servant Jacob.26 And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despise them round about them; and they shall know that I am the Lord their God.
And somewhere within this prophetic chain of events the TRUE believers, aka the Bride of Christ, aka the Church, will be taken from the earth and the 70th and final week of the angel Gabriel’s 70 Weeks prophecy as prophesied in Daniel Chapter 9 verses 24-27 will commence:
Daniel 9:24-27–Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
The conflict in Ukraine and its eventual outcome cannot be determined as of yet, however, what we know for a surety is that our omnipotent, omni-present and omnipotent God is in control. What we need to see and understand right now is that events are taking place that are leading to other events, both prophetic and otherwise.
Bottom Line: If you do not know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, NOW is the time to get saved!!!!
